Below you’ll find the latest information as of 9:50pm Hawwaii time on 07 December, 2012.

Monday, December 10

6:30pm or so – Karaoke at My Bar (address)

Tuesday, December 11

2:30pm – Rehearsal dinner potluck BBQ and guitar sing-along at George and Ericka’s (address)

We invite our guests to join us at Ashley’s parents’ house for a potluck BBQ. We’ll provide drinks and some light snacks, Ashley’s dad will be roasting a pig four ways and we ask that you team up with your housemates to concoct some delicious dishes for everyone to share. Not everyone needs to bring a dish, but the houses we’ve rented have big kitchens and we encourage you to get to know your housemates by cooking together. The festivities will begin around 2:30pm and continue until people are no longer awake. Bring your swimsuit in case you want to take a dip in the pool.

Wear your best, or worst, touristy Hawaiian outfit (if you are so inclined).

Wednesday, December 12

3pm – Wedding ceremony on the beach
We are getting married on the beach at Kaloko-Honokohau, which is just north of the Honokohao marina and small boat harbor (address).

After you turn into the harbor road (Kealakehe Parkway) take the first right turn and follow it until you see the Kona Sailing Club. Park in the gravel parking area and look to the right for the park gate. From here it is a 5 minute walk to the ‘Ai’opio Fishtrap and the beach where we will get married.

  • Our wedding is at 3pm, so it will still be pretty hot. Please remember to bring water.
  • There’s a short walk from the parking lot to the beach, so bring footwear of some sort.
  • Our wedding colors are blue and green (think of the Pacific Northwest, the ocean and Carolina blue skies). We invite you to incorporate these colors into your outfit for the ceremony.

The wedding reception will follow the ceremony at the housing compound. (address)

Thursday, December 13

4:30pm – Manta ray night dive
Meet up at the Na Pali Kai II at the Honokohau harbor (the same harbor as the wedding).
